I don’t know where the lightning struck at 6am, but the thunder was so close that we both yelled, the dog jumped up on the bed and the cat woke up. Soon after, the dog had to be coaxed out of the bathroom where he was hiding, panting and shivering.
We live on the edge and it gets thinner and thinner every day. What can I do about it?
First things first… Keep a clear head and hydrate.
Exercise and eat well.
Have a plan. This is impossible to do unless I’m clear headed, hydrated and healthy.
Ooookaaay. So, the plan is to rest, drink water and take a walk today. Oh, and to resist the urge to go to Ma Fischers for breakfast. Will this keep the lightning from striking?
Maybe I won’t be sitting on top of my house holding a lightning rod when it does, though.

Update… Is it just me or is it impossible to go from 100 mph to 20 without repercussions? My body aches.
