We have our first RSVP for The Tempest.  That simple act transforms an idea we had a year and a half ago into reality.

Yes, we can argue that it’s been a reality for much longer.  We auditioned and cast the show.  We partnered up with Alverno.  We have a cadre of advisers.  We got a grant and held a fundraiser.

Until you have an audience, it’s an idea.  It’s a rehearsal.  It’s preparation.

True, we don’t have an audience yet.  But we do have someone who specifically said, “Hi, my name is Sheri and I want 4 seats to the noon performance on Friday, June 24, 2010.”

We’d better keep going.  Sheri’s counting on us and she’s who we’re doing it for.

Significantly,

Susan Scot Fry

Update… We’ve gotten 4 more RSVP’s, so it’s not quite old hat yet.  Each one is gratifying.
